The Patio: Meeting #7 AI and Networks with dr. Markus Eronen
When: | Th 05-10-2023 16:00 - 17:00 |
Where: | Collaboratories, Harmonie building |
The Patio (an interdisciplinary research group on social networks) invites you to their upcoming meeting, with invited speaker dr. Markus Eronen (Faculty of Philosophy, RUG)
Markus Eronen received his PhD (Cognitive Science) in 2010 at the University of Osnabrück, and is Assistant Professor at the Department of Theoretical Philosophy (University of Groningen). His current research topics include causal discovery and explanation in psychology, the network approach to psychopathology, and the differences between human and artificial intelligence. He is also teaching the course Philosophy of AI and Cognition to artificial intelligence students.
During the meeting Markus will start with an introduction on AI; some history and how we can think of it in relation to networks. Because this subject is quite broad, we reserve the largest part of the meeting for open discussion, where you can bring your own ideas, questions and problems. This can be based on general interest or something more specific, such as your own research.
More information and updates on the programme can be found on the website of The Patio.
