Anouk Oldenburger received Travel Grant for the Experimental Biology

Experimental Biology 2013 is a congress were basic and clinical research are combined. The participation of several societies such as the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP), the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) and the American Physiological Society (APS) resulted in a diverse program. Respiratory research presented at this congress included pulmonary inflammation and injury. The role of different cell types and signaling pathways in these two topics was discussed. Epigenetic mechanisms and their role in the lung was another topic presented at this congress.
