Successful workshop

30 August 2017
The participants of the 2017 workshop

From August 20-25 we hosted approximately 50 academic and industrial researchers from about half as many countries in Groningen for the 2017 Martini workshop. With lectures by the current and previous members of the Groningen MD group and ample time for hands-on sessions we managed to help a lot of people with either starting to use the Martini force field, or overcoming barriers they encountered in their own projects. We hope that we didn't just teach you the ins and outs of the force field, but also will have sprouted some ideas, connections and collaborations! With a big dinner on Thursday we celebrated the success and new friendships. Hopefully the 2019 meeting will be just as good!

We also welcome Jean-Marc Billod and Neila Machado that decided to extend their stay in Groningen and continue the good work started during the workshop.
