Chair of Landscape History
The Centre of Landscape Studies is identical to the chair group of Landscape History of the Faculty of Arts. The chair holder is Prof. Theo Spek, whose teaching position is the 'history and modernity of the Dutch and European cultural landscapes', in short: Landscape history.
All staff members, PhD students and project leaders of Centre of Landscape Studies are organizational members of this chair group.
Special Chair of Historic Country Houses & Landed Estates
The special chair for Historic Country Houses & Landed Estates has been part of Centre of Landscape Studies since 2012. This chair has been established and is financed by the Van der Wyck-de Kempenaer Foundation.
Since 1 November 2017, Prof. Dr. Hanneke Ronnes has been appointed as professor by special appointment. Since September 1, 2022, she has been supported by Dr. Willemieke Ottens
Special Chair of Ecological Landscape History
The special chair in Ecological Landscape History chair was established by the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands (RCE).
