Portrait of Amina Helmi added to the Senate Gallery

On the evening of Thursday 16 January, the UG unveiled seven new professor portraits that will hang in the Senate Room and the faculty rooms in the Academy Building of the University.
Because of her exceptional achievements in her field, a portrait of astronomer and Spinoza Prize winner Amina Helmi will be added to the Senate Gallery in the Senate Room.
Prof. Helmi was portrayed by Fred Schley.
Amina Helmi is professor at the Kapteyn Astronomical Institute of the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
