Training programme

PhD candidates are expected to complete a training programme of 30 ECTS, of which 6 ECTS should be labeled as transferable skills (or soft skills). PhD training programmes are highly individual and tailored-made. PhD candidates at the GSSE receive an individual training budget to pursue a personalised training programme. This training programme supports the PhD project and prepares PhD candidates for a career in- or outside academia.

PhD candidates can select courses, workshops and other training activities from numerous organizers, such as the GSSE PhD Academy and the UG Career Perspective Series (and more).
