PhD Programme

The Graduate School for the Humanities is home to all activities involving PhD research, PhD supervision, and graduation at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Groningen.

As a PhD candidate, you are in the unique position of being able to dedicate yourself to scientific research for a period of three, four or even five years. This is a time span in which you will grow both as a scientist and as a person.
