Graduate School of the Košice Institute for Society and Health (Slovakia)
The Department of Health Sciences has a special partnership with the Graduate School of the Kosice Institute for Society and Health (KISH), which is part of the Pavel Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (Slovakia).
KISH has about thirty employees, twenty of whom are PhD students. About 20% of the scientific output of the Public Health Research Programme is contributed by the KISH. The interdisciplinary academic research concerns groups that can be considered vulnerable from a societal point of view, with particular emphasis on the themes of ‘Youth and Health’ and ‘Chronic Illness’.
