Teaching Assistantship

The ESD group coordinates all activities related to the teaching assistants (TAs) within the first three semesters of the BSc IEM program. Some of these activities include:

• Recruitment of the TAs via an annual call-for-applications
• Matching candidates with suitable course units and keeping course coordinators informed
• Requesting contracts
• Organizing TA training modules via the Professionalization & Innovation in Education (PIE) group
• Organizing English proficiency assessments and workshops via the Language Centre
• Evaluation and coaching of the TAs

Note that courses in pink are not coordinated by ESD; however, they are within the Teaching Assistantship Program which is coordinated by ESD.
