If available, you can follow the PhD ceremony via this livestream.

Lay lecture

Prior to the promotion ceremony, Anne-Men will give a lay lecture from 11:30-12:00. This lecture will be in Dutch and will take place in the Senate Chamber of the Academy Building.

Short summary of the dissertation

In this thesis, they use mathematical modelling and analysis techniques to study the behaviour of electrical networks comprising resistors, memristors, and capacitors. The objective of the study is, first, to obtain more insight into the behaviour of networks constructed of these electrical components, and, second, to understand if and how these networks can be used to mimic the behaviour of neurons and synapses.
