Title: The development of solar power plants - an internship at ib vogt in Berlin.

Summary:
Since May, I am undertaking my internship at ib vogt GmbH in Berlin. Ib vogt is an international company, active in over 50 countries, and specialised in the development, construction and operation of solar power plants. This colloquium will give a first insight in the process of the development of solar power plants and will explain what factors make that a solar power plant can be developed from a business perspective. The engineering aspect, consisting of the process of making the lay-out of a solar power plant and performing yield assessments, as well as the financial modelling will be considered in this presentation, with some projects in Greece as an example.
