Robotics workshop for elementary school children
On Sunday 26 May 2024, Dr. Mauricio Muñoz-Arias of the Engineering and Technology institute Groningen (ENTEG), hosted a robotics workshop for children aged 5 to 11, at our institute and it was great success! Both parents and children enjoyed participating in a series of experimental setups and even assembled and tested the Elegoo Tumbller robot. In addition to this main activity, we offered several experimental setups previously developed by our own BSc and MSc students:
- The ornithopter system
- A compressed-air engine rover
- The Arduino Braccio cutlery sorter
The enthusiasm and happiness of both the children and their parents were palpable. They were interested in future activities, such as coding or chemical experiments.
