Gert-Jan Euverink appointed Confidential Advisor Scientific Integrity at the faculty
As of November 15, Prof. Gert-Jan Euverink of ENTEG will be the new Confidential Advisor Scientific Integrity of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Euverink succeeds Prof. Oscar Kuipers. The Confidential Advisor Scientific Integrity is appointed by the Executive Board of the University to act as an approachable contact person for questions and complaints about academic integrity. The confidential advisor tries to mediate or otherwise amicably resolve complaints about academic integrity. If this turns out not to be possible, the confidential advisor shows complainants the way to file a complaint with the board.
Gert-Jan: “I hope that I can contribute to a culture in which an adviser scientific integrity is no longer necessary. For now: know that my door is always open and that I'm here to help you further.”
