CEASG receives funds for Literature/History/Philosophy series in the China Academic Journals Database
CEASG is delighted to announce that the Groningen Confucius Institute has generously provided substantial funds to purchase an extensive database of academic journals published in the People's Republic of China.
The Literature/History/Philosophy series in the China Academic Journals Database is available via the library catalogue's E-resources page (and retrievable there with the search term "China"). Following a successful library user trial during December, the Database provides access to more than 1,300 journals. Published in Chinese (mostly) and English, these journals are now accessible to Groningen staff, students and visiting scholars who keep abreast of - or aim to begin exploring - Chinese academic publishing.
The CEASG hopes that it may be possible in the future to acquire other series (e.g. Education and Sociology) and thus increase the range of material on offer.
