Title: Twisted isospectrality
Abstract:
There are famous examples of isospectral, non-isometric Riemannian manifolds, due to Milnor, Sunada and Vigneras. All of the constructions are based on ideas in number theory. Transfering some more recent ideas in number theory to this setting, we discuss conditions on manifolds under which isometry is determined by the equality of spectra of finitely many “twisted” versions of the Laplace operator.
