Title:
Modeling and Control of Power Systems in Microgrids
Abstract:
In this talk I will present two topics of my thesis on modeling and control of power systems in microgrids. First, I will focus on the inductivity of the lines of a power network. In particular, I discuss a novel method to evaluate the effect of output impedances on the inductivity of a network. As the second part of my talk, I will present the problem of stability of DC circuits with constant power loads, and elaborate on tackling this problem by two approaches, exploiting the port-Hamiltonian framework. Both parts of the presentation are concluded by numerical examples.
