Title: "Designing Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems"

Abstract:

In Cooperative-Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) domain, cooperative systems such as traffic management systems, traffic light controllers, and connected vehicle on-board units communicate with each other to increase traffic efficiency and safety for specific transport modes. However, C-ITS systems have been deployed independently from each other with different goals, stakeholders and settings. With continuous progress in C-ITS domain, the convergence of these systems demands a strategy to coordinate and communicate with each other efficiently and securely. This initiative is currently demonstrated by C-MobILE project. In this talk, we present our results on C-ITS reference architecture and authorization framework that
can be used for large-scale deployment across Europe.
