General Information

The Groningen Center for Health Law is a unique centre in the Netherlands working in a multidisciplinary setting, which focuses on various health dimensions from the perspective of international and domestic health law. With a wide range of highly qualified members and fellows, GCHL addresses a wide range of dimensions of health law. Many factors contribute to and affect the wellbeing of individuals, which is why the members of GHLG combine their individual expertise in order to tackle serious challenges relating to health.

The team includes more than 30 researchers from the Faculty of Law, University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG), other Universities in the Netherlands and internationally, and participants from civil society. These members have expertise ranging from disease control to issues like reproductive health, mental health, accountability, and climate change.

In addition, our Centre has several collaborations with various committees and networks.
