Advantages of the Buddy Network Law

Soft landing
a group of buddies helps to create a soft landing for all students who are new to the Faculty of Law, so they can feel more at home and settle easier into university life.
Social integration
starting in a new place is difficult for all; a group of buddies will help feeling that you are not the only one going through these changes and as such hopefully students can find their place in our Faculty’s community faster.
Ability to network
the ability to network is a highly desirable social skill prominently featuring in job requirements for future lawyers. This can be practiced with the buddy group and at the guest lectur.
Employability
alumni have told us that being able to demonstrate intercultural experience, like to be gained in the buddy setting, having practiced networking and doing volunteer activities are an absolute asset for work life.
Community building
being part of a buddy group with connections formed across the Faculty’s programmes will enforce the Faculty’s community; we want to welcome our new students warmly into it.
