Manolis Kotzampasakis wins Energy Law Thesis Award

Manolis Kotzampasakis

Manolis Kotzampasakis is one of the two winners of the 'NeVER Thesis Award 2021'. This prize has been awarded by the Dutch Energy Law Association (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Energierecht) for the best Master thesis in the Netherlands in the period from 1 January 2017 to 1 September 2020. This winning LLM thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Edwin Woerdman.

Manolis just started as a PhD student at the Energy Law Section, with Edwin Woerdman and Frans Nelissen as his promotores. His PhD research focuses on the challenge of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from international shipping, through the inclusion of maritime transport in the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS).
