Jaap Waverijn presents legal research on energy and climate finance

At the inaugural University of Groningen Three Minute Thesis competition , PhD researcher at the Groningen Centre of Energy Law (GCEL) Jaap Waverijn won the People’s choice award. After his presentation about his research on the legal barriers and solutions in financing (offshore) renewable energy, and the role thereof in combating climate change, Jaap received the highest number of votes from the audience.
