North Sea Energy Law Programme 2014-2016
After a successful teaching period in Groningen on downstream electricity and gas, the programme advances to the Oslo block on upstream oil and gas. In the evaluation, the Groningen block received an average grade of 4.57 out of 5 overall.
Last-minute applications for the Oslo block are welcome, as are applications for the Aberdeen and Copenhagen blocks. Moreover, the programme committee has decided to start the next round in September 2016 (concluding in August 2018) and has opened the application procedure therefore. The number of participants will be approximately fifteen.

Block I – Electricity and Gas: Liberalising and Regulating the Market
Block III – Energy Investments, Trade and Security
Block IV – Green Energy, Climate and Sustainable Development
Upon successful conclusion of the four blocks participants are expected to write a thesis in order to receive the LL.M degree. The 2016-2018 schedule is expected to closely follow the 2014-2016 schedule.
