North Sea Energy Law Programme 2014-2016

23 December 2014
The North Sea Energy Law Programme (NSELP) is a two-year post-academic part-time joint degree (LL.M) offered by the Universities of Groningen, Oslo, Aberdeen and Copenhagen. The advanced curriculum is designed and structured specifically for legal professionals in the energy sector and covers the field of energy law from wellhead to burner tip.

After a successful teaching period in Groningen on downstream electricity and gas, the programme advances to the Oslo block on upstream oil and gas. In the evaluation, the Groningen block received an average grade of 4.57 out of 5 overall.

Last-minute applications for the Oslo block are welcome, as are applications for the Aberdeen and Copenhagen blocks. Moreover, the programme committee has decided to start the next round in September 2016 (concluding in August 2018) and has opened the application procedure therefore. The number of participants will be approximately fifteen.
