Prof. Dr. H.E. Bröring

Herman E. Bröring (1959, Stadskanaal, the Netherlands) graduated in 1983 in Dutch law (public, private and social-economic law). Since 2003 he is full professor integrative law studies. His PhD-thesis (Groningen, 1993; cum laude) concerns a category of soft public law: non-statutory rules, quasi-legislation, administrative rules, policy rules, codes of practice, guidelines, et cetera. His fields of interest are soft public law, law maintenance, procedural law and litigation; on ad hoc basis also Carribean administrative law in relation with European and Dutch administrative law Union. Prof. Bröring is lecturer in divers aspects of administrative law, for bachelor and master students. He gives post academic courses for the judicature, the bar and the administration.
