Prof. Dimitry Kochenov, a constitutional-law expert at Groningen University, was interviewed on Dozhd (https://tvrain.ru/teleshow/here_and_now/pasporta-454647/) (in Russian), the biggest Russian independent TV channel, to discuss the position of the Russian passport in terms of visa-free travel around the world. Stunningly, the passport of a huge country with a large economy is worse in terms of international travel than even the documents issues by Kiribati, Timor Leste and former Soviet Republics of Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine.
