Current PhD Research
The Faculty of Religion, Culture and Society is proud of its thriving community of PhD researchers. Being one of the largest research centres for the study of religion in the Netherlands, the Faculty’s Graduate School hosts a diverse group of doctoral researchers, exploring religious phenomena from antiquity to the present day, and from all parts of the world. The spectrum of topics and approaches, as well as the theories and methodologies applied in the individual projects, mirror the cutting-edge research carried out in the Faculty’s three departments.
Click on the project descriptions of each of the departments to find out more about the fascinating exploration of religion, past and present. Feel free to contact the departments or the individual researchers, if you have any questions.
