The 15 most read news stories in 2017
2017 is almost over. Which news articles on www.rug.nl were this year’s favourites? Which ones appealed to you the most?
In first place is an article dating back to October 2016, when it was announced that Prof. Ben Feringa had won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Two other popular articles are also about Feringa, two are about student associations, and several articles are about grants, UG events and ranking lists. What’s missing? We published many articles on scientific research and academic projects in a broad range of disciplines , and – of course – on our educational programmes; however, they do not appear on the most-read list. By showcasing these articles in the website's header, we hope to change this in the coming year.
