University election results for 2014
Rector Magnificus Elmer Sterken announced the results of the 2014 University elections on Tuesday 20 May. Elections were held for the student members of the University Council and Faculty Councils of the University of Groningen.
The students were particularly eager to find out who had won the elections for the student members of the University Council. From 1 September 2014, the distribution of seats for student parties on the University Council is as follows: 6 seats to Lijst Calimero, 5 seats to SOG and 1 seat to the Onafhankelijke Studenten Raad.
