New Unifocus: Studying 2.0; Buying for Charity; The search for new antibiotics

The new Unifocus, the video magazine of the University of Groningen, is online.

This week:

  • The search for new antibiotics. Professor Oscar Kuipers recently received a € 1 million grant from the EU to study synthetic peptides.
  • Studying 2.0. There is a new place to study in the University Library: the Learning Grid, designed to meet students' wishes.
  • Buying for Charity. The economic crisis has encouraged many charities to form alliances with businesses. But does it work?

Each episode of the weekly online video magazine Unifocus includes three items related to the University of Groningen, in the fields of research and society, student life, teaching, policy and internationalization.
