Salt Crystal Growth Contest 2012
The fifth Salt Crystal Growth Contest is drawing to a close on 7 November 2012. Children from primary schools in the North of the Netherlands will show their salt crystals to the jury. The progress of their efforts has been visible on www.zoutkristallen.nl. The winner and his or her class are awarded a school trip to the German ‘salt city’ of Lüneburg in the spring of 2013.
The finals will take place on 7 November 2012 in the Bernoulliborg, Nijenborgh 9, Groningen. Start: 13.30. By 15.30 the name of the winner will be made public. More information: Theo Jurriens.
