Pure: update & more automation in news items
Pure update
Pure, the research information system of the RUG and UMCG, has been updated on the 28th of October.
Changes:
News items
- As from November 1st, news items that are related to UMCG- and RUG-researchers, will be automatically imported into Pure. After a data check, these items will be added to the profile of the researcher, in order to make managing and updating of the researchers profile easier.

- The researchers overview page in Pure has a new design. This page is only visible to the researcher. The bibliometric figures that are shown on this page are unfortunately only calculated for pure-output with a so-called PlumX record. This means that the shown H-index and citations are not representative and also depend on the completeness of your publications in Pure. We're looking into improving this.
You can request the CMB to do a citation-analysis on all your publications.
ORCID & your pure account
It has recently become possible to synchronise the pure research output to your ORCID page. To get this done you have to make sure your ORCID is registered in Pure and Pure is authorised to export and synchronise. You can select this under 'Edit Profile' in Pure. It's also possible to send the research output on your ORCID page to Pure.
For questions please mail to orcid umcg.nl
Pure workshop
The next Pure workshop (webinar) is on November 24th.
