Reserve a study place in the Medical Library

Book a seat or room
With the reservation tool you can reserve a study place or a group room at these locations:

Medical Library - seats with/without computer & group rooms

Seats without reservation
There are more than 50 seats for which no reservation is required. These can be recognized by the sticker on the table 'No reservation necessary'.
There is also a library location on Hanzeplein, but this is only accessible to UMCG employees with a UMCG card and access rights.
How to book and check in?
In short:

If you have opened the reservation tool, choose a location by clicking a map

Click on the desired start time and then choose an end time.

Click 'Show Availability'. Available seats now turn green.

Then select the desired study place or group room on the map and book

You can book up to a month in advance.

Save your confirmation email, because it contains the code you need when checking in
-
On arrival, check in with the QR code on your table (or ask at the lending desk, we can also check you in)

Check-in at the Medical Library
If you have reserved a study place, you will receive a confirmation email containing a code.
When you arrive at the library, you can go directly to your table and check in yourself:

Scan the QR code on your table

Enter the code from your confirmation e-mail
Note: If you haven't checked in 15 minutes after the start time, your reservation will automatically expire.
If you cannot come, we appreciate it if you cancel the reservation via the link in the email, so that someone else can reserve the spot.

You can reserve a study place at the University Library or the Zernike Library

The espresso bar in building 3214 is open 8.30am to 4pm for coffee, tea, snacks, sandwiches and salads
