Downloading e-books for offline reading (= "digital borrowing")
For offline reading of DRM e-books (Ebook Central and EBSCO) Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) is required.
For PC, laptop, e-reader, tablet and smartphone you need Adobe Digital Editions (ADE). ADE can be downloaded freely from the internet. An Adobe ID is required.
Adobe Digital Editions
Installation of Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) on managed staff PC's:

In the Workspace Preferences, add Adobe Digital Editions to your Start menu

Access Ebook Central or EBSCO, download your e-book to Adobe Digital Editions (ADE)
Without user id: -
ADE will start and will ask for 'leverancier-id', leave both fields empty and, click the button below left and 'proceed'.

In the next screen you are informed that the computer is authorized and you can download the e-book
With user id: -
You can download ADE with user ID, when a user fulfills a book on one device, the book will be automatically downloaded to all the other devices that belong to this consumer (activated using the same user ID)
