ORCID iD and Pure

The UG and other universities in the Netherlands support ORCID as the author ID. ORCID stands for Open Research and Contributor iD.An ORCID iD is a persistent digital identifier that you can manage yourself and that unambiguously links you to your publications and research activities. Having and using an ORCID iD improves the visibility and discoverability of your research, saves you time and hassle, and reduces the risk of errors.

Connect your existing ORCID to Pure

It is now possible to connect your ORCID iD to your Pure profile. This means that your ORCID page is automatically filled with your research output from Pure and is always kept up to date.
