Adding patents
Researchers may also add patents, such as patents registered with a previous employer. Duplicate patents will be merged (Northern Knowledge (NK))
Note: Only a published patent should be recorded in Pure and only one publication per patent family: the first patent application. Other publications or additions can be requested from the patent database through R&V.
The patent can be registered in Pure as soon as it is published in Espacenet, i.e. ultimately 18 months after the first submission.
Create from template (manually)
Log on to Pure and click the green the Add content button on the right-hand side of the page
Click Research Output on the menu bar on the left. Choose the Patent template from the middle of the page
Fill in as much information on the metadata as possible.
Compulsory fields are marked by a red asterisk*
