Research portal basics

The UG research portal can be found here: UG research portal.
The homepage presents an overview of all the content types of the University of Groningen:

• Profiles
• Research units
• Projects
• Research output
• Datasets
• Prizes
• Activities
• Press/media

You can search for all types of content using the search box on the UG research portal's homepage. For example, when you type in ‘Jansen’, the database will show all the profiles, research output, datasets, prizes, activities and press/media attributed to the keyword ‘Jansen’. If a search is conducted from a content page, the search will focus on that specific content. You can refine your search using the ‘Advanced search’ option in the search bar.

Collaboration maps

The homepage also includes a collaboration map. The map shows the affiliations and co-authorships of the University’s research output over the last five years. The collaboration map is available on several pages of the UG research portal and will show the geographic spread of collaborations according to subject.
