Lustrum: 410 years University of Groningen Library
Half a year after the foundation of the Academy in Groningen in 1614, the decision to establish an academic library was made on 28 February 1615.
410 years later, the University of Groningen Library (UB) is celebrating the anniversary with an Open Afternoon on Friday 16 May 2025. Everyone is welcome!
Do you have a special memory of the UB? Has the library played a role in your life? We’d love to hear your story and feature it during our Lustrum and/or on our website.
