Extra opening hours: UG-only: 12 October - 6 November (UPDATE)

During the upcoming exam period both the UB City Centre and the UB Zernike have extended opening hours. This period with extra opening hours is planned around the exam periods at UG faculties and begins some time before the start of the exam periods.

UB City Centre: UG-only

From 12 October until 6 November the University Library City Centre is only accessible for students and staff of the University of Groningen (and other holders of a University card). Hanze students will have no access to the library during this period.

  • Opening hours: 8.30 am - midnight

Please note: Reserving a study place is mandatory at the UB City Centre during this period.

UB Zernike

At the UB Zernike opening hours in the upcoming period will be:

  • 14 until 20 October (regular opening hours)
    - 14 to 17 October: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
    - Fri 18 October: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
    - Sat+Sun 19 & 20 October: closed

    21 October until 3 November (extended)
    - Mon-Fri: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
    - Sat-Sun: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Please note: For the time being, you no longer need to reserve a study place at the UB Zernike during the UG-only period.
