Strategy and policy
The Faculty of Arts is defined by a great variety of research fields and expertise. This diversity applies to the entire domain of the humanities. Furthermore, our faculty houses several subdisciplines of the social sciences, and is tied to the natural and medical sciences. The Faculty of Arts is thus a breeding ground for a wide range of interdisciplinary academic research and teaching. Our broad range of disciplines makes us a suitable partner for collaboration with societal institutions.
This strategic plan presents the Faculty of Arts' ambitions for the period of 2021-2026. We aim to continue the current positive developments and achievements, and to build on the strong foundations laid in the past. We are currently a financially stable Faculty of Arts that performs exceptionally well in the fields of teaching and research. We are proud of the positive results that we have achieved in teaching and research visitations. In addition, we are proud to see that many of our talented staff are members of regional, national, and international academic platforms and advisory bodies. We aim to use, strengthen and expand this strength in the coming years.
