Dutch Non-binary Pronouns

Language is key in addressing cisnormative understanding of gender and promoting gender diversity. Dutch non-binary pronouns ("die" and "hen") have slowly been making their way into general usage and have been included in both the Dikke van Dale and are now acknowledged by Dutch language authorities such as the Taalunie. But do these language guidelines actually influence people’s opinion on the acceptability of these pronouns? Come by and test your own point of view!
