Bring your own breakfast and let's explore gender in academia, discussing the impact of representation, gender roles, and institutional structures on career paths. How do these factors shape opportunities, and what can we do to foster inclusivity in academia?

What to expect?

• Breakfast & Networking to meet fellow early-career researchers.

• Four inspiring speakers will present insights on gender-related issues in academia and higher education. Esther Metting will begin by sharing research findings on gender in academia. Following this, Erika Darics will discuss gender in higher education. Marian Joëls will then focus on the experiences of women in science. Finally, Michael Lerch will examine representation in course materials.

• An interactive panel discussion with experts and Q&A session to wrap up the event.
