From Wednesday 19 June to Saturday 22 June the exit from Ring North (east side) to Zernike Campus & Paddepoel is partially closed. Oosterhof Holman will widen the exit. The work is expected to be completed on Saturday 22 June at around 5 p.m.
Open during morning rush hour
On working days (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), the exit is open for traffic between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. The exit is closed on Saturday morning.
Traffic diversions
Outside the morning rush hour traffic from Ring North towards Zernike / Paddepoel / Selwerd is diverted.
Upgrade Zernikelaan
The work is part of Upgrade Zernikelaan. During the entire summer period, campus visitors must take into account road closures and diversions on the Zernike Campus.
The Municipality of Groningen, Hanze UAS Groningen and the University of Groningen (UG) have joined forces to improve the traffic situation and overall appearance of Zernikelaan. The plan is to make it greener, safer and generally more attractive. This project is called Upgrade Zernikelaan. Work is due to be completed by late 2021.
