Important! Less accessibility part of Zernike Campus

13 March 2025

In the coming years, the UG will connect various buildings on the Zernike Campus to WarmteStad's heat network. This will enable us to take a major step towards making the Zernike Campus CO2-neutral. We are doing our best to carry out the work with as little inconvenience as possible, but unfortunately we cannot prevent this. Read in this post what exactly you will notice about the works.

Closure of Landleven

From Wednesday 19 March to Friday 11 April, Landleven will be closed from Blauwborgje up to the Zernikelaan. This period falls exactly in the exam period. As a result, there are fewer students on the Zernike Campus, so we will try to minimize the inconvenience.

What will you notice?

Landleven will be closed from Blauwborgje to Zernikelaan (see map below). This means that walking routes between the Duisenberg building, the Kapteynborg and the Foodcourt will be less accessible. There will be an alternative wheelchair-friendly walking route via the decking next to the Duisenberg Pond during this period. The Kapteynborg's main entrance will remain accessible via this route.
