Centre of Expertise Interactions in Diverse Classrooms

The Centre of Expertise Interactions in Diverse Classrooms brings researchers from different research groups within the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences of the University of Groningen together with researchers from the Faculty of Arts, NHL Stenden UAS, and Hanze University of Applied Sciences. Together, they focus on issues related to classroom learning as seen in the interactions teachers have with students and students with each other. Special attention is paid to diversity as represented in all classes; diversity in, for example, home language, socio-economic background, and (special) educational needs. Interest in these issues connects members in doing joint research and in finding answers to practical questions.
