Do exemptions count towards the BSA norm?

If you have been granted an exemption by the Board of Examiners for a certain course unit, those ECTS credit points will count towards your final total. In other words, if you have been granted an exemption for a first-year course unit worth 5 ECTS, you must earn at least another 40 ECTS to receive a positive study advice.
