Does graduation mean automatic deregistration?
No, graduation does not mean automatic deregistration. You will have to submit a request for deregistration via Studielink.

As of what date my registration will be ended?
It depends on why you want to end your registration.
Reason Your registration will be ended Quit your degree programme as of the first day of the following month Graduation on the first day of the month after the month in which the final assessment is passed (date on certificate) Decease the first day of the month after the month in which the student died

I am currently enrolled in two degree programmes at the University of Groningen but I want to stop with one of these. What should I do?
You can deregister via Studielink if you want to discontinue one of your degree programmes.

What should I do if I have entered an incorrect date?

Can I cancel my request for deregistration?
If you have submitted a request for deregistration, it can no longer be cancelled in Studielink. Contact the Student Information and Administration as soon as possible.

Reimbursement of tuition fees
You are entitled to a reimbursement of 1/12 of the tuition fees for each month of the academic year in which you are no longer registered.
You must submit your request for deregistration via Studielink before the end of the academic year to be entitled to reimbursement of tuition fees.
Please note: There are no reimbursement of tuition fees for the months of July and August. You are not entitled to reimbursement if you deregister for a pre-master programme, unless you have filed a request for deregistration via Studielink in the first two months of your enrollment.
