Daan Hulshof, Aline Seepma, Lieke Voorinholt and Jeroen van der Vaart win SOM Awards 2020/2021
Research school SOM presented the Awards for Best Graduate of the Research Master and best PhD Thesis at the PhD Conference last week. Because the conference couldn’t take place the last two years, the awards for both 2020 and 2021 were presented at this edition. Daan Hulshof won the Best PhD Dissertation Award 2021 and Aline Seepma won this award for 2020. Lieke Voorintholt won the title Best Graduate of the Research Master in Economics and Business for 2021 and Jeroen van der Vaart was awarded this title for 2020.

Hulshof, currently a lecturer and researcher at FEB, was honored for his thesis ‘Imperfect Information and Incentives for Renewable Energy’, supervised by Machiel Mulder and Catrinus Jepma.

Seepma, currently a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at FEB, was honored for her thesis ‘Just integrating or integrating justice? Understanding integration mechanisms in criminal justice supply chains’, supervised by Dirk Pieter van Donk and Carolien de Blok.

Lieke Voorintholt, currently a PhD candidate at FEB, was honored for her thesis ‘Give what you have plenty of: a budget-based analysis of the relationship between donating and volunteering’, supervised by Sándor Sóvágó and Adriaan Soetevent.
