Collegium Spinozanum IV
The summer school Collegium Spinozanum IV took place from July 4 th and July 7 th 2023 in Groningen Netherlands. The event brought together around 60 philosophers working on different aspects of the work of Baruch Spinoza. Our four speakers, Raphaële Andrault (ENS Lyon), Gábor Boros (Károli Gáspár University Budapest), Yitzhak Melamed (Johns Hopkins University) and Andrea Sangiacomo (University of Groningen) were joined by participants coming from 12 countries and 17 institutions around the world. In addition to the lectures and presentations, the programme featured two thematic lunches and a reading group on Tantric nondual immanentism. You can check out the programme and flyer of the event.
We warmly thank all our participants for a wonderful time together and look forward to welcoming them at our future events! We also extend our gratitude to the RUG Summer and Winter School Office for their invaluable support as well as to the Groningen Faculty of Philosophy and to the German Spinoza-Gesellschaft for financial support.
