Walking or by bike
The department Health, Safety and Sustainability department is within walking distance of the Central Station. It's about a 15 minute walk. At the Central Station you may choose to rent a bicycle. The route is easy to find. See the map below for clarity.
With your back to the station, you will see the Groningen Museum in the water. You cross the bridge past the museum and walk or cycle straight ahead. Cross the Zuiderdiep and continue straight ahead, into the Folkingestraat, towards the center. Follow this to the Vismarkt. You walk or cycle again straight ahead, past the Broerplein with the Academy Building, until you reach the Visserstraat on your left. Here you turn left. You will see the entrance to the Health, Safety and Sustainability department on your right at number 49.
By bus
A great many bus lines go to the Broerplein. Some lines have a stop on the Grote Markt and two lines have a stop at the A-kerk. For information about the schedules of the relevant bus lines, see www.qbuzz.nl or www.9292ov.nl.
Route from bus stop at the Grote Markt
The bus stops near the Martini Tower. From here you can follow the route to the Health, Safety and Sustainability department past ABN-AMRO and Jumbo, as indicated on the map below.

The bus stop at the A-kerk is located to the left of the A-kerk. From here you can follow the route indicated on the map.

Walking route from parking garage Ossenmarkt
The Ossenmarkt parking garage is the closest parking garage. From the parking garage you will reach the AMD via the following route.
Cross the nearest bridge and turn right along the water. Then first street on the left (Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat) and then second street on the right (Visserstraat). The Health, Safety and Sustainability department is found on your right at number 49.
