Student account & student mail

Step 1 Shortly after you applied to the University of Groningen via Studielink, you should have received an email with the subject 'Student Number University of Groningen' (or in Dutch: 'Student Nummer Rijksuniversiteit Groningen'). This email contains your student number. In case you haven't receive your student number, please check your spam folder or contact Information Services.

Step 2 Now go to the activation page and click on 'Activate Account' (or in Dutch 'Activatie Account')

Step 3 Enter your student number, birthdate and the private email address you used to apply

Step 4 Now, you should be able to log on to the Student Portal with your activated account. Here you will find an overview of your courses, your future home assignments, etc.
