Testimonial Tiana Xavier (Malaysia)
A highly engaging environment
When I moved to Europe from Malaysia in 2013 to pursue my degree in International and European Law at the RUG, it inevitably was a disguised life-changing decision that was made for the better. The highly engaging and interactive environment we are put in will stretch you beyond your perceived boundaries. They make no mistake when they say the city is your campus. It literally is! Being able to go from point A to point B in under 10 minutes on your bike makes the student life in Groningen just that much more intriguing.
Developing personal interests
There's also a plethora of platforms such as societies, events, lectures and festivals going on in the city which would easily serve your interest due to its great variety. Personally, besides studying law, I also have an intricate attraction towards performing arts (theatre) and a passion towards human rights. All of which I can develop with ease in Groningen! The diversity of cultures, views, knowledge and experience that this city presents is truly invaluable. Immerse yourself in it!
